Tennessee Lady Vols Softball 2022.

Like I said, she’s a victim of her own success. The program was non existent before the weeklys. As long as they’re making the tournament she isn’t going anywhere unless it‘s her choice.
We are the Ladyvols not some mid major. She may be a victim of former success but not in current years. Karen’s worst trait as a coach is she is really bad motivating a team. She knows all the technical stuff for sure but it does not make it on the field especially in postseason when it really counts.

just saying, be careful what you wish for. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

Her only claim to fame as a coach for years was coaching slappers, which she was absolutely very good at. Took India Chiles and Sarah Fekete from walk-ons to First Team All-Americans.

But it's 2022. Slap hitting is obselete, and now she has no strength. She can't motivate a team. She can't coach hitting, she can't coach pitching, she's not great at calling pitches. WTF is she good at, besides having the personality of a tree stump?

For the longest time it was the opposite this season. But we have had few games where both the hitting and pitching have been top notch, at least against good opponents. Typical LV softball.
EH not really, the offense might have been hot at times this year, but it was way too streaky. Ive followed this team all year theyve been prone to this prolonged droughts against good pitching all year.

It's been streaky but it was good enough for us to win many games with our pitching not doing well.

EE had only given up 1 hit going into the 6th, lets not act like she was getting shelled. OSU hit Ashley hard to start last game and thats why they were in this position in the first place. There are a lot of things to criticize Karen for (mainly the offense) but choosing to go with EE isnt one of them.
Go back to Friday night is all I will say. Don’t blame EE at all with any O we win.
