Keep those facts out of here. Was a very down year for the SEC. This was a good but not great Lady Vol team. They lost every big OOC game they played this season.

When I look back at the season a big thing I wanna see next year is a revived coaching style. We can’t have a lineup full of power hitters. We need speed, besides kiki we have no true speed. That was also our problem, we just wanted to take a big hit to get ourselves on base, but sometimes you just need a small hit. Also we need someone else to coach third. Someone with an offensive mindset that is willing to try something new and push the envelope. I do not know who will stay and who will leave. We have 3 returners in the field, 4 in the lineup, & 4 pitchers (assuming ashley stays). There is going to be a lot of new faces, I just hope that they are willing to step up throughout the long season. We need to hit the portal again and get a better pitcher and at least 1 power hitter. Anyways, GBO. See y’all next year.

That type of situation is usually something that the pitching coach suggests. EE has walked one.

Easy to look backwards and second guess. Look forward.

The pitching and defense was ok. We just could not hit the good pitching. Happens all the time. I saw the same thing in Omaha last June.

By your own admission, getting to the tournament is valueless. Who are you going to get who‘s going to duplicate the success the weekly’s have had AND take it to the next level? I don’t follow softball to the level some of you (clearly passionate fans do) but I don’t see a lot of big name coaches moving jobs.

They always in sports that teams take the personality of their coach, and never has that been more true than here.

And with all the talent we've had, only *one* SEC championship with two SECT titles. And keep in mind when Monica was here the SEC was nowhere near as good as it is now and has been for the last several years. Florida wasn't elite yet, Arkansas and Kentucky were bad, etc. It was basically Tennessee, Bama, Georgia and LSU back in those days.

Lack of ESPN exposure has hurt the Pac-12 in a lot of sports. Probably none more than softball. I think its also played into their seeding the last decade. You can't accurately seed teams if the games arent as visible.

I wouldn't be so critical but we came into today only needing one win, over a team we already beaten and we looked lifeless in both games.
