This game is being played in Oklahoma City...so yes, they will have "homecourt" advantage but.......This won't be nearly as bad as playing in that other dump on their campus. They will be more physical than Texas, but not as physical as us.
We can't let JamesOn Drugs Curry get hot from the field...I don't see it happening

Commited to UNC..then was busted for selling Pot(felony case) to kids at his HS...so UNC dropped him and OSU picked him right up...OSU is the Cincy of the West with the thugs they have.

JMX, I've always defended you when you get out on the edge, but I've got to rip this entire post. First, Gallagher-Iba arena has undergone a multimillion dollar renovation in recent years. Second, it is one of the truly historic buildings in college basketball. If you want to see a "dump", you need go no further than the corrugated steel trailer we built on the Tennessee River. Attacking a kid who made some mistakes in high school is pathetic and weak. You're better than that.

Oh my god. There's pot in high schools? If that's the worst thing a kid ever does, I don't think he's a candidate for death row. NCGatorBait, wasn't Mario Boggan recruited to Florida? Didn't Curry initially sign with UNC? I guess if he hadn't been caught, he'd be wearing the powder blue. Doesn't Saint Roy do background checks? Oh, that's right, he recruited that noted humanitarian Lester Earl to Kansas.

how good is ok st. really?

could they beat texas?

will they do something that texas didnt, and make us take bad shots, or turn the ball over, or they could get in our head.

what kind of team are they?

I'm glad he missed out on that NC last yr at UNC! :devilsmoke:
Really. :D

I was looking at OSU's schedule and they have lost to Boston College, Northwestern State, and Gonzaga. I know it's going to be a tough game but it looks like they are pretty unproven so far.

Typical Eddie Sutton team. Sound half court defense, patient offense. We'll see how their inexperienced point guards deal with our pressure.

Local sportstalk radio had Eddie Sutton on with an interview. He spoke on the Vols match-up saying the film he's seen shows the Vols are likely the best ball movement squad he's seen. He said the only weakness he sees is a low post presencse, but they counter that with a lot of quickness. He said also that the new coach of the Vols was their secret weapon.

He was a seventeen year old kid. It's not like he's Pablo Escobar.

I don't disagree. My issue is with everyone hammering the programs who do give a kid a second chance. What's the alternative? Ban them from college? Carolina has a class program but, if memory serves me correct, they produced Rasheed Wallace and Rashad McCants. I don't think either of those guys are exactly Eagle Scouts.

Both had attitudes..but weren't commiting felonies. BTW, I'm all for giving a kid a second chance as well.

Based on the Texas game, the Vols should be able to win this one.

OSU have any injuries to two of their best players? That'd help...

I know dude, it's a historical place and one of the top 5 toughest places to play in my opinion....I just called it a dump because it's tough to play in....and you're right about my cheap shot...it was below the belt, I just couldn't resist.
You are my favorite person on the entire board by the way.
