Ouch.

Luckily, the lines lost all credibility for me by opening Georgia as a 2.5 favorite over South Carolina

Georgia will obliterate SCar. That line has to get bet up. Whatever it winds up being ,take Georgia. SCar can't stop Knoxville Catholic right now.

Probably fair to be honest. Remember we cried foul last year when Oregon was a 28 point favorite, and they covered easily. I don't think Oklahoma beats us nearly as bad, but 21 doesn't seem like an unreasonable line with the orange shaded glasses off.

That's a pretty fair opening line actually. I figured it would open between 17-21, and I doubt it moves much, if at all throughout the week. If our offensive line was competent then I think it would have opened around 10-14, but most that really follow football know we have got major issues right now on a very inexperienced offensive line unit, and that factors in heavily when playing a physical team like OU.

I hate to say it but I can understand our line and it might even go up a little bit with bettors that remember the Oregon line from last year...If Georgia only opened a 2.5 favorite over South Carolina, now is the time to jump on that because it will soar upward. I bet when it closes that UGA is at least -6.

Expected, I posted that I thought it would be between 17 and 21. I get we're all fans but Oklahoma is the 4th ranked team in the country and has looked very good so far. Unless we play a perfect game and they play sloppy we have a slim chance of winning. Same team that gave Alabama's defense a whipping last year. Obviously I hope we play well and pull off a stunner but just saying that the line is pretty fair.

Line is a little higher than I expected, but the OL and ST's are probably the biggest reason the line is that high... all the other positions have played well and well enough to win a game like OU...but the OL is holding UT back...

the line moving after opening is dictated by where the wagers fall. I'm still surprised it opened over 20 though.

I am not surprised at all by the line. I hope that we.keep it closer than the spread but coach BS will want to beat the sh!T out of an SEC team. OU does not play anybody really. We are one of the tougher games on their schedule since it looks like utjr sucks under Strong. So they will use the national spotlight while they have it against us to make a statement. Glad GameDay is not their to fire up their fan base even more. That said I still hope the football gods deem it time for the breaks to go our way and us win a big one, at Norman on national TV in prime time would be perfect.

How sweet would it be to lay the smack down on the Sooners and make that whining b#*@h Bob Stoops shut his mouth about the SEC. Not likely, but would be incredible

I'd probably take the 21 and go home injury free to get ready for Georgia. Getting beat by Oklahoma on the road by 21 doesn't sound too bad at this time and it may be much worse. (hope not)
