21 is actually a respectable number, I expect it to be down to around 17.5 by the time kickoff rolls around. Big game Bob is due for a let down soon, not saying it'll be this weekend by any means but you never know.

If you look at all our youth and inexperience and first big game on the road and how the Big 12 likes to whoop up on the SEC and how bad they beat BAMA then that's probably about right.

where is all this talk about BS wanting to beat down an SEC team coming from ?

I keep seeing posts about Stoops wanting to beat down an SEC team, run up the score . Just wondering where all that was coming from

He said something last year that the SEC, as a whole, wasn't that great of a conference...or something to that effect. He'll be looking to lay a beatdown on the Vols Sat. night. There will be no mercy. It's up to UT to compete.

I wouldn't touch that line. It could go either way. Road Dogs are usually the money makers.

Paper thin on both lines and younger than any team I can ever remember seeing..... Ever.....I know I'm pessimistic, but I'd take OK and the points. I just think the Vols get outmanned and taken to the woodshed. I'd love to be wrong.

I know it's two totally different teams and situations, but I'm sure Virginia Tech wasn't likeable by Vegas.

Tennessee needs it's fanbase to remain positive and excited. Be VFLs, not arm chair fools and pessimistic onlookers.

We're not being pessimistic. It's being REALISTIC! I see what I see & the 1st 2 games doesn't make me optimistic heading into the rest of our schedule. :eek:hmy: I'm a VFL & that will never change but I have to also be honest with my feelings & words! :):)

There's that awful VFL concept that makes me want to scream. Why do I have to deny reality in order to be excited for a game and support my team?

We are more prepared than the Oregon game last season, I don't necessarily see a W here but I don't see us embarrassing ourselves either.

Someone posted in another thread that their team is as young as ours everywhere but the trenches... 73 freshmen and sophomores or something like that.
