Medicare isn’t free and it’s only “cheap” if you fall into a very specific category. It can also be quite expensive if you don’t fall into that category depending upon what coverage you need. The Affordable Care Act plans are not cheap if you have ever spent any time on any of the state exchanges. Pre-existing conditions was a great benefit of the ACA

Unborn children are alive and if you have ever been in a doctor’s office listening to the heartbeat and watching them move then you wouldn’t make that statement

I've been in an office and seen the ultrasounds. I believe in fetal viabilty. BTW, you can detect a fetal heartbeat at 6 weeks.

Everyone has access to healthcare. Even homeless people. The issue is that self responsibility of how you live goes a long way towards your health lifestyle

Another issue is everybody trying to get more out of their insurance than they pay in. Got a sniffle? Go clog up the system since the deductible has been met and it's free through 12/31. Imagine the cluster f*** that would come with unlimited free health care for everybody.

Affordable care plans are cheap, depending upon your income. I was on the TN Exchange for two years as a consultant. Go price a private plan and get back to me if you think ACA plans are expensive.

I think the insinuation is that since adults got $500 per child, and pregnant women didn't an additional $500 for their unborn child, that it constitutes tacit acknowledgement that there is a difference between fetuses and children.

Also, do you see any distinction in "supporting murder" and believing the government shouldn't be involved in the decisions between a woman and her physician and choices that may arise from that?

You understand that the baby is a seperate human from her mom. Most babies murdered are black. I guess those lives don't matter.

I'm sure it was a figure of speech used to imply the staunch fiscal conservative narrative that the GOP has crafted when it comes to spending. Ergo when it comes to spending money on things they don't want to spend money on, suddenly fetuses are fetuses and not people.

The state level is where these things should get decided but this is headed for the SC where John Roberts will be the deciding vote to shoot this down.
