Iowa got squat from winning the Big 10 tourney as well. Committee had their brackets done before the weekend started and just had to add in Richmond and Yale when they won their conference tournaments.

Just like it pained Stankey yesterday to congratulate the Vols during the ceremony. When somebody has to reaffirm their enthusiasm and say how honored they are to present the trophy, it’s obvious they loathe the task of doing so.

If we were to drop out early, it would only fuel the committee’s ridiculous fictional narrative that they seeded us where we deserved.

Hope our guys stay locked in and prove it on the court. We have a pretty favorable path to the Sweet 16. Time to execute and make it happen.

The head of the committee said, after the selections, that the committee takes into account tournament and season-long results. So, they do have accountability. It’s just that he told the biggest lie (with a straight face) ever. It’s just unconscionable.
