I think you are strongly underestimating their resume. They beat Nebraska 56-7, the same Nebraska team that lost by 4 to #2 Ohio State . The same Nebraska that beat #20 Colorado. They have won every game by at least 14. They beat Mich state at Mich state by greater margins than Oregon or Ohio state did and Oregon was at Oregon. They beat UCLA by 29 at UCLA, which is much more than Oregon did And much more than Penn State AND LSU did both playing at home.

Remember back in the early 2010s when Oregon would run up the score against subpar Pac 12 teams. Then they play a team with athletes like Auburn and gets exposed. Indiana is a well coached team that is playing good football. But there's a reason people recruit 5-star athletes over 3-star athletes. Because in the long run talent wins out. If Indiana plays Ohio State close and performs well in the playoffs I'll be the first to give them their credit. But I gotta see it to believe it.

As a Tennessee fan I'd rather see them and their 3-star athletes in the playoffs than a team like Alabama for a second time or an LSU or A&M with their 5-star athletes all over the field.

Absolutely I would take us in Knoxville. I take issue with those who downplay their accomplishments and act like they shouldn’t warrant playoff consideration.

It was a low scoring ugly 19-22 SEC type game. That's the point. Oregon went from body bagging everyone to getting into a slugfest. Same thing happened to Florida State against Auburn a few years later. Florida State was beating weak ACC competition by huge margins every week then they finally play a team that recruits close to their level and it's a close one possession game.

Blowing out weak competition doesn't necessarily translate when you play a team with a similar talent profile.

As of right now, sure consider them but if they get beat by OSU, then they lost the only tough game they played.....

Their SOS is 103rd and their opponents have a combined losing record.

Indiana's strength of schedule is atrocious, ranking 103rd. The Hoosiers' strength of record is the worst among the top 12 at 34-45 as well.

And what I was pointing out to you is Ohio State, with its roster full of 5 stars almost lost to Nebraska, barely winning by 4 points. Indiana (with all of its 3 stars) beat Nebraska by 49 points. The games to this point show that when an inferior team plays Ohio St, LSU, Oregon and Penn state, they do better against each one of them than they do against Indiana. I am not sure there is any evidence to say that Arkansas is any better than Washington, Nebraska or UCLA, which Indiana handled very easily.

Could the fact Indiana is a nobody trying to make a name for themselves while Ohio State overlooked subpar competition have something to do with it? I mean we just saw Alabama beat Georgia one week then turn around and lose to Vanderbilt. Teams get up or down for their competition. Indiana is getting up for everyone cause they have to.
