Having to play Indiana, Oregon, and then Ohio State just to get to the he Natty is TOUGH.

Indiana is the best looking team I’ve seen this year. I see them beating Ohio State honestly.

Let’s meet Indiana in the Semifinal not round 1 please.

Who have they beat? They have yet to play a ranked team

Are you really worried about Indiana playing in Knoxville?

Vols are 7-1 by Neyland’s maxims and Heupel’s mantra - this game, reset every play, be fully in the moment, your personal best.

Mississippi State is next. Win this game, and the CFP ranking shouldn’t be any worse.

One game at a time. GBO

One thing much football still to play out. Who knows with the way this season is playing out. Love our position. It's about getting better this week and hope that GA Ole Miss is a battle to end with GA getting W. In CHRIST Alone

Indiana's strength of schedule is atrocious, ranking 103rd. The Hoosiers' strength of record is the worst among the top 12 at 34-45 as well.

True, but they still pass the eye test, just like we did vs NC State, Chattanooga, & Kent State. Take off your orange goggles.

LOL. More like that's the easiest path to the natty. Give me slow Big 10 teams that don't have 5 star athletes everywhere like Indiana any day of the week. We'd run them out of the building. Oregon to me looks like a paper tiger. I think we would handle them. Ohio State would be the toughest but they're not more talented than Bama so I like our chances there.

Give me those teams over rematches with Georgia and Alabama.

No they don't. They don't have any 5-star athletes or elite recruiting classes. I'm sorry but I never buy into the teams that don't recruit at an elite level and beat up on weak competition. I think a team like South Carolina would destroy them. And if you have South Carolina their schedule they would also be undefeated.

No orange goggles cause I am not even talking about us.

You proved my point, their whole season has been Chattanooga, Kent, & N.C. State. I would take our chances against in Knoxville.

They are as close to a lock as anyone. They’ll be 11-1. Only way they miss the playoffs is if they lose by 50 to Ohio State, which won’t happen.
Perfect. I will take our chances against them in Knoxville......

They might not even beat Michigan this weekend. It'll be their first game against a team who recruits at a top 10-15 level year in year out. In many ways they've yet to actually play a team with talent on the level of a South Carolina. That's why their undefeated record doesn't impress me. Let's see them not get pushed by Michigan before crowning them.

You give South Carolina or Florida their schedule they'd probably be undefeated too.

We might not like it, but it makes no sense to not root for Georgia and Alabama this Saturday. Knocking Ole Miss and LSU out means two less 2-loss teams to compete with for a playoff spot if we happen to lose in Athens. Plus it helps our SOS for both of them to win. Put aside the hate and focus on what will benefit us.

No doubt. Indiana and Penn State are both pretenders who are benefiting from the incredible overrating of that garbage conference that has two legit teams out of 18. Give either of them an SEC schedule and they are 8-4 teams at best.
