It's time the Lady Vols reverted back to a two pitcher main rotation against the better SEC teams; namely Rogers and Pickens. Gottshall has proven she can't get it done against the better teams and if she stays in there against them she's going to get us hurt.

The proof is in the pudding. All you have to do is watch the at bats. The scouts need replaced

Just got a chance to watch the replay due to church. Kiki is swinging at everything and hitting some of them. Donihoo is for real struggling and G looked less lost to day. Felt like they would change lineup a lot and they did. Still much to improve on we actually got a bunt down Taylor i think

Great game by Pickens. She should be SEC freshman (pitcher) of the week. Pitched 6 and 2/3 no hit innings today for the win. Counting 3 and 1/3 innings yesterday making 10 inning of scoreless (earned runs) innings. She lost the release point of her change-up during the game but battled and got the win.

Payton will be fine. She has a stike out to walk ratio of 66/5. She was struggling with one pitch. Not sure what pitch it was. The pitch was not breaking but crossing the plate flat and that will get you beat.

Texas A&M is a very good team. They have won series against Kentucky and Arkansas. They did get swept by Georgia. But two of those games could have gone to A&M easily. So at the half way point in conference we are 10 and 2 and have won four series. I give Karen credit. Shaking up the lineup was a key in victory today.

Are you kidding me? What we’re doing with three main pitchers should pay huge dividends when we get into tournament play. One, they should all be fresh. Two, you have options out of the pen if one is struggling.

I like what we’re doing.

I never said that Gottshall couldn't come out of the bullpen, but she shouldn't be starting against top-tier SEC teams. Mid-American Conference competition is not the same as the SEC and we're going to find that out in a hurry going into the last four SEC series and the NCAA tournament.
