Bats in the freezer today. Wasted a 1 run 3 hitter by Ashley against a good team. Gracie and Taylor’s injuries really hurt us offensively. If we’re rained out tomorrow, Va Tech game becomes more valuable. At this point it’s about finishing in top 8 and with our final 4 series I’m not sure we’re 10-2 second half. I hope but not counting on it.

We have been playing really well. Sometimes chemistry or whatever strikes and someone you might not expect to beat you, does. Good, no real great teams learn from losses and it fires them up. Hope that is the situation here. Go Vols! Win that next game. See y'all at the baseball Vols game later.

I knew in the first when Kiki dropped the ball (hard catch) it was trouble it took the edge off for them. It was a well played game. We did not give it away though the top of the order has to do more in these type games.

Not accurate. According to the TV broadcast on Saturday, that’s not a Chris Malveaux thing that he wants to push, but there are players that like it.
