Walks played a part but weak infield hits and bad umping was the killer.

There was an error in there, I’d guess a couple of walks too.

Mix in missed calls of outs at 2nd base on a steal attempt and at home when ump said foot off the base when it was on the base plus a ground ball that was hit foul but english on hop brought it back fair ,so they scored 8 runs on an error ,walks,three weak ground balls and a pop up to left field

yes and no...the rain is ending in Middle Tennessee but, the weather is awful for softball. We can score really well at times but, I would not bet on this game turning around for the Vols. I just got on UT Sports and was shocked. Baylor has our number for sure.

According to my weather radar, it is raining or misting in Knoxville and will continue off and on for about another hour. Then just cold wind from the north and overcast. UT apparently struggles in cold weather.
