You also had Aubrey Leach, statistically one of the highest average hitters in program history propping up the 2018 and 2019 numbers.

As someone else mentioned, batting average doesn’t tell the whole story, OPS, OBP, runs and extra base hits all play a role in comparison.

Gregg was also still at UT in 2018, correct? In those years, as well as the years prior, it seems like we had multiple All-American hitters.
