Normally don’t comment in here, but let’s say we beat the Gators and the MVP of America, Ms. Wallace, who y’all want in the semis? Arky for revenge or Bama who I’m sure will throw Fouts until the end of time?

Thinking we don’t want Arkansas and their home crowd again. Maybe Montana will be tired by then.

Have watched a lot of these games today and I don’t think I can recall the last time a one seed got less respect than we have this year. They’ve gushed over all these other players and pitchers being “POY” without so much as mentioning Kiki or Ashley. If SC wins today, my bet is their coach gets coach of the year.

There isn’t as much of an advantage to leaping (what she’s doing) vs replanting (Kelly Barnhill), but regardless that back foot comes off the ground everytime she pushes off the rubber.

seriously though. If Bama or Florida won the regular season it’s all we’d hear about and they’d be a lock for all the conference awards.

Just a couple of observations. Georgia swept South Carolina in the regular season. South Carolina deserved this win and the win reminds us once again how difficult it is to win in this conferece.

@volman128 you are on target with Gobourne and illegal pitches. Since it's not called consistently, I was not watching it closely. Then the camera operated zoomed in on Gobourne's feet (four or five tmes) during her delivery. I wondered what is the camera operator doing? Then it was obvious. The TV personalities ignored the obvious.

I expect Florida to be very difficult to beat tomorrow. It will be a revenge game for them and a chance to improve their seeding. Putting Payton Gottshall on the announcement was appropriate as she had two wins and a save in our sweep of the gators a few weeks ago. As always it will be difficult to beat a team a forth time especially a team with Skyler Wallace (the best player in America). I trust we will be alert and ready to play.

Their non conference schedule was awful. By my count, they played 3 top 50 RPI teams out of conference and lost all 3.

Beat LSU, UF (twice), Bama, A&M (sweep and SECT), Auburn, and UT. That’s 6 RPI top 25 wins. A&M is currently 27. They got swept by Mississippi State.

In comparison, we have 15 top 25 wins and 17 if you include A&M.

So Rogers isn't starting by reading the above post, maybe saving Rogers for Women's World Series.
