I find myself not wanting to pull for either of these teams. I want Alabama to lose, but I don't want to pull for Arkansas lol. I don't want to play Arkansas in front of that crowd again... but in the same accord - that crowd is fantastic for college softball. On a side note, man our side of the bracket is just ridiculous.

WOW. Montana Fouts injured on pitch 109 of the night. Came up limping after a pitch. She tried to pitch through it but couldn't; she winced in pain. I'm sure she just cemented a POY award.

164 pitches for Delce...Arkansas catcher is playing awfullll. 3 1 Bama with runners on the corners. How many times have they said Fouts name? Has to be a record as I starting watching in the 5th amd her name has been said 20 plus times.

Alabama pulls it out in 9 innings with Fouts getting injured and Salters throwing 45 pitches as well. Liking our chances if we can get through our first game.

A reminder of the wear and tear pitchers endure at the expense of wins. We should all appreciate AR and her history after seeing the Fouts injury herself live.

We have to beat Florida and Alabama. Bama may be without Fouts if we make that game. SC vs Auburn is the other game we would need to win to get another title. If we get by Florida today I like our chances to win the SEC Tourney.

As you and everyone else are pointing out, though, it is coaching malpractice. Even before the injury last night, her velocity is off several ticks from what it has been in the past. Just terrible load management by her coach.

They’ll fly some of that special juice the football team uses up to Arky and she’ll be as good as new

And yet, some here want to question not using AR more and questioning her inning management to keep her healthy. AR will be the first to want more innings like Fouts but she to this point has been handled correctly.
