I love this about her. She plays with an attitude and her teammates seem to feed off her energy. She never appears to get rattled either. Even after Prange got the HR to pull the Lady Gumps to within one PG remained calm. She’s been a massive get from the transfer portal.

She is high-strung out there, but she’s found how to use it to her advantage.

The South Carolina storyline is pretty compelling, and Tennessee has proved they can bring consistently elevated play. It has potential for high drama, and ESPN is smart to realize it.

I saw some video of her too on SEC Now after the game. She had a very obvious limp in the footage I saw. I have a feeling her career at Bama is over. Tough way to go out.

Re-watched the carnage of Picken's start. Bases loaded, 0 outs - the 3-2 pitch fooled the bammer but the ump bailed her out with the ball 4 call. Not defending Pickens - she was wild out of the gate - but that was a belt-high fastball that caught plenty of plate. Later the same thing happened leading up to bama's 2-run homer in the 5th.

This year more than any I can remember there's been glaring inconsistencies wrt the strike zone. Heh maybe we do need an R2D2 behind the plate after all.
