Tennessee Softball 2023

Way to go Lady Vols. Reg and SEC tourney Champs. I guess it'd take a miracle to beat Oklahoma to win it all...but this is a great accomplishment regardless. Any way we could beat OK if it came down to it? We can pray OK gets upset before that game would happen I guess.

They (OU) can be got with good pitching, gawdy record, but still, yet they had a few close games.

I remembered last night sitting in the cold rain behind home against Baylor with not much going right. We rallied but didn't win with some real bad base running. What did happen that game was Payton figured it out that day. She had been going through a pretty rough stretch. She and probably most was wondering if she could pitch at this level. Well she decided she could in the rain and has never looked back.

She has valuable experience prior to arriving here which helped. She just needed to get adjusted to this level of play. Big weekend for her

I think the rankings are going to be Oklahoma, UCLA, Tennessee, Florida State top four. Going to be at least one very strong team in our regional at home. We may see Baylor again they are in that group that will play on the road somewhere.
