I want so much for the Lady Vols to go into the NCAA tournament relaxed and feeling like it's just a continuation of the SEC season. I hope they don't put too much pressure on themselves and just play and have fun and do their best and then whatever happens, happens. The season is already a huge success no matter what happens next, so I hope they carry on exactly how they have been. 🧡💙

Yes they will probably be ranked to high to be in our regional. Not sure Bama is going to make the top 16 going to be close. I can see Arkansas, Georgia, then you have LSU or Bama. Looks like Florida is a road team. My guess is that in the top sixteen you will see Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, and Texas from the Big 12, Northwestern from the Big Ten, Florida State, Duke, and Clemson from the ACC, UCLA, Stanford, Washington, Oregon, and then you have Utah who I think also makes the top 16 if not them Bama.

Just a wild guess at the top 16

1-Oklahoma
2-UCLA
3-Tennessee
4-Florida State
5-Stanford
6-Texas
7-Washington
8-Oklahoma State
9-Duke
10-Utah
11-Northwestern'
12-Arkansas
13-Oregon
14-Georgia
15-Clemson
16- LSU or Bama think LSU has the edge.

We should have a good draw as should be the number 30 seed. 46 seed. and the 62 seed in our region. Then if we get out of that which we should we would play the 14 seed in the super regional. Really no reason for us not to make it to the World Series, but said that about baseball last year.

We'll probably get a Big Ten team someone like Minnesota , A strong Mid Major like Liberty and Middle Tennessee. I'd just as soon play an SEC team in the super as some of the Big 12, ACC, Pac 12 teams. I think we proved we can handle the SEC so if that is who we play will be as good as anybody else we might draw.

No doubt. My concern was fans thinking she arrived early as the next great. Watching her in travel all through HS, I saw her weaknesses and her strengths. Strengths was size and speed, weakness was winning big games (big tournaments/state titles) and gets rattled. Biggest jump is from HS to college and then Freshman to Soph year. She’ll be fine once she gets back to work and knows what to work on.

I sure hope you're right, but I'm not counting on that for this post-season. Next season? Heck yeah! But the NCAA Tournament is a pretty tough environment for a freshman pitcher to try to overcome a pretty big confidence/focus problem. She seems pretty shook right now and it may take more innings than Karen has to risk to let her build it back up. She obviously has the talent and is going to be a great one for us but, again, the pressure of the tourney may not be the best thing for a confidence problem.

OR, of course, she very well could be cut from a super strong cloth and it turns out the NCAA Tournament was the PERFECT time for her to get it back. Gawd, wouldn't that be something?!

Yep. They want to limit the number of SEC teams in OKC. The odds are greater than 50% that they match us against Alabama, GA, or LSU in the supers. I'm thinking Lady Vols 4 seed, 13 seed GA in the supers.

Extra Innings posted this morning and has us as the 4 seed with Indiana, Liberty, and Miami-Ohio in our bracket. Then #13 Arkansas coming to us in Supers if we both win. It will be interesting to see how accurate they are.

She throws a very easy 70+. Looks effortless.

Looks to me like she just needs better command of the strike zone, which will help with the confidence. And if she can develop and control better spin, she could be virtually unhittable.
