I mean Stanford’s offense is REALLY REALLY BAD. I’d say with a top 20 even top 15 offense Canady would’ve won

We are a better team overall but Stanford has the best pitcher in the country. If they had even an average offense they would probably be the 2nd best team in the country.

To beat OU you have to have great outing from your pitchers and you have to put runs on the board when you have the chances. Stanford left runs on the bases and that’s why they lost.

For game one. Gonna have to get some outs out of KP to make it all work. Could use her as an opener for first time thru batting order.

If we get lucky and catch her on a night where she has good control, a pitcher friendly ump, KP can mow a few down. I promise...that is serious heat.

Game two by committee. Probably use all three of then.

Win the first one, and things will snowball on them.

Would be nice for bats to be lively. Gonna be great fun!

Worse case, we win the bronze medal..........which is nice!

I think KP could definitely get a few outs. She didn’t even look that bad against OU, just getting squeezed, and she should be more comfortable facing FSU.

Only thing, she's wild at times. The more she is in trouble seems the wilder she gets.

That’s really the problem. You can’t walk a bunch of batters and constantly uncork wild pitches and be successful.

Our approach against killfoyl was take the two good up pitches then weakly hit the sinker. If it is Sandercock first game she is not going to walk many we have to attack the pitches up.

I’m about to walk over from the parking area. It’s my first time back to OKC since Thursday. Are we expecting Rogers to be available in the bullpen for both games but not to start either of them? That’s what it sounds like from a few posts.
