0-0 after 9 innings and that’s the game, Charli pitched to first 9 batters then Karlyn the rest of the way. Their starting pitcher looked like an all-American after the first three staffs we faced. She’s legit though: 227 ip, 150 k, and 23,wins last year. No hard hit balls at all for either team, 5 hits each team. They brought in new pitcher in 8th.

If it was their ace she was very good last year. Good early test for us.

She was recruited by Oklahoma Lsu and Georgia at least gave up only two runs her Sophomore year and pitched two shutouts (actually threw two no hitters) in their run to the state championship. Named Kansas player of the year as a sophomore. I have no idea what level Kansas softball is like on the high school level. She looks the part in video.

I do not, this class and younger is getting away from players my kid played.

Solid program in Select. So if she’s putting up those numbers and getting her team to PGF finals she’s ahead of majority of kids in the class. Kansas softball traditionally isn’t strong overall but numbers don’t lie and it bodes well that she’s winning it all and not getting knocked out.

Bella is definitely our best SS. Very smooth for a freshman. She’s also had a couple of hits thus far. Laura can play there as well and has some extra base hits including a HR thus far. I think Karen will make use of both of them. I just hope Zaida is ready by start of season. If not, Taylor has 3B covered until she is ready.
