Gasso signed two sisters out of Indiana. One the #3 overall player.

Nugent is a VERY good player. She can crank HRs also. As an OU fan, did not want to lose her. You have a good one there.

Not sure that’ll happen in regards to equivalent, but Plumlee is a strong pitcher to have for the class. They have a strong P/C combo for the class that’ll be as good as anyone’s.

Looking at our roster we have a lot of hitters to fit in but as last year showed a few injuries and the bottom of the lineup falls off.
Although the bottom came through with some big hits there was no consistency. Hopefully we will have more depth this year. On paper we look stout hitting. Hopefully they are working with Pickens on a curve for the outside of the plate.

You let it fly, max effort. You slow her down on her muscle memory you’ll have a bigger problem of mechanics.

Big fall for Keene heading into year 3 and with very little to show obviously injury aside. Outside of Bella not sure the Leach twins make an impact outside here and their innings. G will be all over to get her innings where games and innings allows.

All options. Timing wise usually the start of the 7 month post surgery you’re 100% cleared. She’ll be able to do work prior to build up …might be doing it now in regards to light throws on a small count, gradually increasing each week. I’d be surprised unless there’s a freak setback like Underwood had.

Lots of good opinions on lineup. My two cents are:
C-Nugent
1B-Boo
2B-Donihoo
SS-Mealer
3B-Puni (Pannell if Zaida not ready)
LF-West
CF-Milloy
RF-Taylor-G-Brockenbrough (hottest hitter)
DP-Pannell (unless at 3B)

It will be I interesting to see the 3 games this weekend. I thought Pannell looked a little uncomfortable at 2B and OF last fall and her few games in spring, I think she’s DP or 3B.Also,If Donihoo only plays 2B again this weekend that could answer some questions. I would think she’ll get some SS innings?? Unless Karen likes Mealer and Faw there. I think G our main utility player.

It’s fun to speculate in Oct about the Spring lineup.

If the team has any problems on the offensive side it would be the lack of lefthanded hitters. Other than the Leach twins and Brockenbrough we have none. Of course many of the returning players are already proven against any pitcher.
