After this weekend with Mealer and Pannell hitting you can’t have them out of the lineup with West coming back for conference play next weekend. No way Karen can have Faw and G both in the lineup and have Mealer on the bench. Mealer has made all the plays at SS when in there, can’t believe she’s not the teams SS. Dez could be the odd one out so Faw and G can stay in the lineup to start conference

Another great win by the Lady Vol softball team. I think they are a legitimate top five team and hope to see them get back up there in the polls. They have two of the best pitchers in the country and the offense and defense to go with them.
One thing I notice being at the games is that these players genuinely like each other as teammates. Their banter with each other in-between innings is enjoyable to watch.
If they play as they are capable, they can make another run to the College World Series and give Oklahoma and Texas a run for their money. Just think how good the SEC is going to be next season when those two join us.

It may be that with injuries and slumps everything may work itself out and that we’re lucky to have a little depth. Like now, Rylie out Laura in. It’s a luxury that so many of our girls play multiple positions. To be honest right now I’m only concerned with two people being able to be called upon: Karlyn and Payton.

Good grief: Alabama has installed this HUGE advertising board on the wall behind home plate. Viewers are forced to look
at huge advertising logos while trying to watch the game. So tacky, so greedy. Find other ways to make money, schools. There
are ads before televised game and between innings: we don't need to see them while the game is being played. That's not supposed
to be the deal.
