Exactly. Mealer at SS when Puni is back. Boo at first. Nugent at C. Faw and G have both had more than enough time to prove themselves at the plate and they simply haven't.

Agree Faw’s bat is concerning but her defense at SS does look really good and a notch above the other options. I don’t think G’s defense is above Nugent’s at C or any other 1B options if she is playing for her defense.

No reason to be playing anybody just for their defense we don’t play small ball. We don’t move runners we play for long ball on this team..

Well I agree but it certainly seems that is the reason they are in the lineup, correct? Considering that, I was just saying that playing a freshman and letting her work through it is more productive than a senior who doesn’t seem to have as high level of defense as Faw (if both are just in the lineup for their defense)
