One more thing I think is hurting us is not playing midweek games you are able to work things out as a player and get others PT so we don’t lose some to the portal. And that’s a coaching decision because of lack of pitching.

Could someone find and post the batting averages from conference play, I think you will be surprised by the averages by some

the biggest thing that is hurting us, is the lack of depth on the mound. Two really good pitchers are not enough to play four games a week.

Coaching Rumors:
Pete from VT is the front runner to get the Auburn job and Chris & Katie are rumored to get the VT job as the backfill. How would Tennessee look as a coaching staff if that happens????

Watching number 15 Missouri, who we sweap, lead number 9 Florida 5 to 2 in the fifth inning, knowing that Florida lost to Missouri last night, reinforces that the SEC is loaded with excellent teams.

Florida, our current main competion for the SEC regular season championship this year, lost game one of their Mississippi State series. Florida, recovered and won the next two
with the final game being decided by one run. A very competitive series.

Six of the top ten teams lost yesterday to lower ranked teams. Hopefully, we rally today and get a win, but State is a good team and we are playing on their field. Nothing worth having will come easy!

Let's get a win and even the series.

Tried going thru SECNW+ and the link in UT softball but get the same result on video but it show the stats and score, strange. Well hopefully Mzou will get 3 up 3 down. Don't subscribe to ESPN app. Appreciate the help though.

We look so much better. Stay aggressive and keep attacking that first pitch. We have Miss State shocked. They weren’t expecting us jumping on the first pitch.
