Both I would say had sub par seasons especially Vawter. Would either have helped Pickens and Gottshall in terms of innings would’ve been a 3rd different look for opponents but you can’t win the portal game every year.We didn't lose because of pitching but it would've been nice to get Vawter or Keeney. Vawter just wasted away at South Carolina.
554 total and it’s just getting started. Majority won’t find a home…mainly by choice.Latest from D1, the Portal, not seen any updates since last week

Would have been hard to land one of those last year with Pickens and Payton returning. This year should be easier to pull a portal pitcher with Payton gone.

It’s very subpar based on going over 200 innings at Liberty to under 60 at OU. Splitting innings as a 3 or 4 isn’t ideal for any top tier pitcher if you’re not going in as the #1. She would have had roughly the same here in the end.I wouldn't say Keeney has had a subpar season. Her inning count isn't very high because she's splitting time with three other pitchers. She only has a 1.67 ERA.
Jamison Brockenbrough - Softball - University of Tennessee Athletics This girl would have played a lot of softball for me. Talent sitting on the bench the whole season. Talent is shown at practice, it is put to practice when you are in the game.Nope. Talent is what you display WHEN you are put in the game. Don’t think anyone can make a real case that the staff squandered any available talent.
Hate it for a bunch of them. Bet they don’t have a good handle on simultaneous lack of production, nor any of them coming through with a timely hit with runners on.
Yes i feel the same, I know there were issues that occurred that put her in the doghouse and on the bench but if you play her once you might as well let her play as much as needed. She hits a homerun her first at bat in a long time then you wait until you start throwing hail marys to get a hit and play her. I hate that she's transferring but wish her the very best. I've got a feeling we will see her again but as an opponent.Jamison Brockenbrough - Softball - University of Tennessee Athletics This girl would have played a lot of softball for me.
