Amazing response for a casual fan who can’t remember their password but remembers what they posted 20 years ago. Karen won back to back SEC titles as a solo coach in her two years alone, never happened but same ole same ole.You are correct. This account was created in 2009, when my old account stopped working, 2 years after MA graduated. However my original post was way back in 2004 when MA was a true freshman. Tn wins at least 2 NC with even average coaching way back then. The Weekly's sucked then as a tandem, and Karen sucks now solo. If Danny White cares about softball, which I don't think he does, he would hire away a top assistant from Oklahoma and be done with it. Same ole same ole as long as Karen is allowed to be the head coach. Btw, thanks for playing lol.
Danny White is spending about $20 million in facility/stadium upgrades on softball over the next three years. He cares. You are correct. So sad to see a pitcher like Canady lose like that….watching that replay it look like their SS held onto the ball for too long. Rule of thumb for rundowns, make the runner go back never forwards and in this case it is what allowed the run to score. The crazy part is if it went to an if necessary I think Canady could shut out Texas. That’s how good she was looking.
Agreed on both. You are correct. Stanford did not execute that rundown correctly at all. And I put it more on the catcher. She should have forced the runner back for a play at third.
Gasso also had a monumental coaching blunder at third base in the earlier game. One out and runner on third. Fly ball to center that looked like it might not be caught so Gasso started waving her runner home. Except…oops, a great catch by the center fielder and the runner had to scurry back to third. It cost Oklahoma a chance to tie the score at 1-1 early. Who knows how the game woulda played out from there with a little more pressure on Florida.
Agree on both. As an OU fan, the Sooners should be able to pound the runs in against Rothrock today.Oklahoma aren't losing 2 in a row.
I really don't care but I really dislike Florida, maybe a meteor strikes the field .
Texas going win it all.
