We won’t see Payton throw the rest of the season with what we have left on the schedule. This would’ve been the only opportunity she would’ve had to pitch. Interesting to see what her future holds

Where’s the bats tonight, this should’ve been a run rule game

Erin looked great tonight! Too bad she lost the no-hitter with two outs and two strikes in the 7th. Most of the night WCU was simply overmatched. Glad to see Emma put a charge in one. I was worried in the first inning when our top two hitters got drilled!

On another note I am starting to get feeling back in my two fingers when I muffed a first inning foul ball. I could blame holding my phone in one hand and the railing in front of me but I’m not going to do that. E-me

Another game, more sloppy fielding. Really need to tighten it up on the routine stuff. Defense is going to be our Achilles heel this year

What sloppy fielding? Did you watch the whole game or one play you want to extrapolate into a gross mischaracterization. I remember Ella juggled one ball but I don't remember any others.

Took everything I had to not respond to them when I came across it earlier, so I understand. She carried a no hitter through 6 2/3 innings, yet defense was sloppy? Thats totally obtuse.

I am hoping we got a glimpse of things to come with Amayah and Emma’s recent blasts. If so the future looks bright.

Miss St isn’t OK, TX, or FL but we need to be ready from the get go. They’re 6-3 in conference (Auburn 3-0, Alabama 2-1, and Texas 1-2) and we can’t afford a let down after taking OK series. We may be playing 2 on Saturday with projected rain on Sunday.

Leach needs to catch the ball better forsure. They didn't charge her with an error, but there was 2-3 fly balls hit her way that she just flat out miss played.

The so-called triple that she lost in the sun(with sunglasses) and the foul ball she missed played , both have to be caught 100/100 times. Although she throwed a missile to home and saved game 1. The discussion was about the D needs to improve. Those plays I was talking about need to be made for that to happen.

True statement, but I would still take Leach all day over Morgan, Defensively and Offensively
