I think it’s a longshot that Morrison enrolls early and an even longer shot that she plays if she does. Would likely be the same situation as Dodge this spring, on the team, but redshirting.Congrats to Baseball! Maybe softball can do it one day! As of today this seems like a potential lineup: LF Gabby CF Alannah RF Taylor 1B Boo 2B Bella SS Laura 3B Kinsey C/DP Sophia C/DP Elsa (if she enrolls early), that leaves Des, Katie, Amayah and Emma (both highly rated but you never know) challenging for PT. Overall it seems 1 bat short. Hate Arkansas got Wyckoff.
That leaves us hoping to pick up a solid pitcher in the next few days/weeks to support Karlyn. If not, Erin and Peyton will just have to step up. As stated earlier don’t know if we can sign a pitcher and get Elsa early, I hope we can.
There is no way Katie Taylor is going to start next season ahead of Taylor Pannell in right field. Pannell was First-team All-SEC this past season and had several decisive home runs that saved ball games for us.Congrats to Baseball! Maybe softball can do it one day! I’ll respectfully disagree on playing. She won’t start unless injury but she’s day 1 ready to play next spring or her freshman year whichever comes first.I think it’s a longshot that Morrison enrolls early and an even longer shot that she plays if she does. Let Elsa complete her senior year at Farragut and then come in ready for the fall of freshman year. Nugent with a little help can cover the catcher spot . Yes when Elsa gets here she will start for four years and be glad in it.I’ll respectfully disagree on playing. Ella moved last season to play high school in Knoxville but couldn’t find a place in time. Went homeschooled first semester and enrolled early.
I agree, the Taylor I had in RF was Pannell and Katie trying to find PT. I Need to start using last names LOLThere is no way Katie Taylor is going to start next season ahead of Taylor Pannell in right field.
