We need one loss by Texas and Oklahoma to activate the tiebreaker. Oklahoma has 8 tough games and Texas has 3 but those 3 are at Oklahoma. Should we continue to win, and the tiebreaker comes into play, our series with the Aggies will determine whether we 3-peat or not.

I don't think it's going to be necessary for us to sweep Texas A&M. If we can sweep Ole Miss ,which we should, and then take 2 out of 3 from A&M in Knoxville with Karlyn pitching that should be enough. A&M has to play number 6 Arkansas this weekend and the likelihood of them coming out of that with no losses is very small. If they lose just one game they will be one game ahead of us. Oklahoma and Texas still have to play each other and the chances of either team getting a sweep are extremely small. So each team is likely to pick up a loss. Then going into the final weekend if Karlyn can do her magic against A&M we would hold the tiebreaker on all of the above teams because we won the series against them. I know it's a lot to ask for but it's still very possible.

Think 5 of 6 might get us at least part of the title. We need a sweep of someone. We need Texas and Oklahoma to lose a game and A&M two game and for sure one. If that happened it would be Tennessee 15 and 6 A&M 16 and 5 or 15 and 6 Oklahoma 15 and 6 Texas 15 and 6. Last weekend A&m at Tennessee. Oklahoma and Texas play three. So this weekend really need the sweep definitely 2 of 3 then we see where we stand and what we need with A&M coming to town.

Also, remember that A&M only played 2 of 3 at Georgia, so we only have to match them in the loss column, we would have one extra win if we did that.

Hope the Lady Vols can take care of business tonight against Clemson and not be looking ahead to Ole Miss. Clemson is a good team and should not be taken lightly. They are ranked number 15 in the Softball America poll. I assume Karlyn will pitch tonight but you never know who Karen has in mind.
