Probably not a good sign if both programs in your state don’t go after you. She visited Texas Tech recently. Perks of her playing for a national brand is she’ll get picked up easy.

I agree with what you're saying, but these numbers didn't just happen. This was a known. Should have notified the young lady a little sooner in the process.

The exact numbers were not known until August. You’re correct that there was some idea, but not an idea that you could determine the future of your program on. They also weren’t probably planning on taking a sophomore transfer pitcher for most of her recruitment, either. Also changes the numbers.

There’s also discussion at the conference level of doing what they will do in football and having a scholarship limit and a roster limit, which will not be the same number. But that everyone receiving a scholarship would be on full scholarship. Creates a different type of numbers crunch.

Can anyone identify the ladies in this picture? I recognize the brunette as Erin Nuwer but not the blondes. I assume one of the blondes to be Peyton Tanner and one of them must be Hardenberger. I'm talking about the picture of the incoming pitchers.

I think it’s typical for conference teams to have a weekend off from conference play or else start the conference slate a week after the rest of the teams. It looks like last year our Lady Vols started conference play a week late. In years past we generally saw them insert the Lady Vol Challenge or an Invitational during their “off” weekend.

Your right, faulty memory Baylor was supposed 3 games, instead weather - travel cancelled last game.
