Watching Faw in person last week she not confident in her fielding.

Enough playing time to see that she is not the fielder that she is professed to be. A lot of errors on routine grounders and even when she catches it double clutching into a single.

It was a pretty weak schedule to open with. Good for reps bad for showing where the team truly is. That’s why those losses although close give a better gauge overall.

Shorty Goodwin has seen Pickens a lot over the years, not surprised she was able to have that AB. Played with Pannell for a few years.

majority are off speed. She’s had about 5-6 hit the dirt.

yes, most of the ones hitting the dirt are her off speed pitches. those two pitches seemed like strikes to me but i’m also wearing orange glasses!

If Backes is part of their 1-2 punch they are in trouble. She’s always landed on 3B in softball, never dominate but right place at the right time.

he struck boo out on a pitch he called a ball for karlyn twice. not a fan of his zone. consistent for the most part up to that half inning.
