Here’s the team’s problem in this situation. Who the teams number 2, Erin or Sage? We are 2/3 through the season and we haven’t established the number 2. They got to be able to pitch through there struggles rather than giving them the quick hook.

It’s more of a feel of keeping them happy so they don’t leave.

Maybe we can use Nico’s money and bring in some hitters next year

Dodge is hitting.205 and Clarke is hitting .225. Why isn’t Dez getting any opportunities, she is hitting .378

Radio broadcast said it was the plan going in at the time the change was made, so I',m going to go with that being the truth, since he had no sense of surprise at the situation. I guess we'll know if you're right or wrong at game time tomorrow.

Without Karlyn pitching we have little to no chance against Texas. We will see how the weekend plays out to see if Karen is playing 4D chess. The hitting strategy of swinging at rise balls and watching pitches must be another level of strategy beyond softball mortals. I will note that Texas's big inning had some fluke stuff happen.

I’m not new, been around a while. Just lurk in the shadows😀 don’t have much to say. I will share I’ve got season tickets for softball.

Evidently Karen thought we could not score in the game is why she pulled Pickens after just one inning. May think we have a better shot to put up some runs today. We need to win a game down there would give us 3 and 3 with two of the top five teams in the country. If we win today of course we want two getting swept is what is going to hurt. Team just has to score a few runs for Pickens to get us the win. Will the be able to do it? Really poor performance at the plate last night.

You don’t overthink it on the road against the #1 team, if that’s the case.

Not sure if we'd ever got a run across but when we had 1 out and 2 strikes on a slap hitter in the 3rd that Nuwers hit by pitch. IMO that changed the whole game if she gets her out, up 1 ball 2 strikes think we get out unscathed. She hits her as her foot is on the chalk in slap mode, then they score 3.
Need to generate some runs though no matter.

Every coach would. Sends a bad message to the team, I’m not worried about what the fans want to hear. They know with KP in the circle they have a chance every inning, with the others in the circle the momentum swings. She doesn't need to overthink it and that’s where she’s gotten in trouble in the past.

I agree just trying to determine what the strategy was of pitching one inning which she dominated then was taken out.
