i think it is freaking hilarious how some people just live to pop balloons. says more about your own lack of a party than a wnba team. a team in nashville named after Pat is next level amazing. it will quickly become of the most loved teams in the league.

p.s. i will buy anything but i would love the summitt blue with orange as their team color. would stand out big time in the league. the yellow and blue image posted reminds me of the chicago storm.
I'm for them having a separate color scheme than the University's. But, I'll agree it is reminiscent of the Sky's colors.

Vince Lombardi says stay in your lane and voice your complaints on the UConn board. Same kids don’t know Vince but will watch next week.
yeah i think this is more about geno having a horrible last name for a future wnba team. LOL

The women’s game will always look to her as the trailblazer.

all these people who never post in the women’s forum getting in their feels bc their beloved town of nashville is considering the idea of obtaining a WNBA team. i hope they do it, would be awesome!! the wnba will continue to grow in exposure.
The league would fold tomorrow if the NBA didn't subsidize it.

Hmm....I think if Paul Brown's name had been Browne, and I had been alive at the time the team was founded, I would have thought "Cleveland Brownes" was tacky.
Another wink-wink reference: The Pittsburgh Maulers of the old USFL were owned by the DeBartolo family - they also owned Century III Mall just outside of Pittsburgh (like many other malls it is no longer there).

Houston Gamblers - Kenny Rogers was part owner.
