I figured it was that Brett hasn't been a good hitter...I watched him play SS this summer and he was better than UGA's starting SS, hit better too.

I dunno.

I enjoy watching Vols baseball whenever they're on tv, but it's hard to keep up when there isn't much publicity nationally. I have a few questions for those who know Vol baseball and follow it more closely. It's my understanding (from what I've read) that we have plenty of talent. Is there a reason that y'all can point to for why it seems we can't get over the hump? I know the conference is killer, but wasn't sure if that was a major reason. Secondly, how are we doing in recruiting? Is there a place I can look where I can follow recruiting?

I am not the best to answer, but I have started following the team more. Not sure that we have "plenty of talent." I think we have some nice players, and Senzel is certainly an All-SEC player. Our hitting has definitely been better this year. But, I believe we are thin at starting pitching and having to throw a lot of guys late in a series. Losing Moberg to the ACL tear hurt as well. SEC baseball is tough without these issues.
