Our RPI actually dropped a few points so far...not as bad as Bama though...this is going to be a big early series for us. If we could win this series on the road, it would be huge for this team.

Those stats are ugly. They had almost as many errors as hits. 6 errors and 3 unearned runs.

I went to Bama's website - I feel really dirty now - to check out the new ballpark. The suites are $18k per year for 12 seats plus the $190 season ticket price. The .525 club seats require a minimum $12,500 one time gift, $650 annual contribution per seat and the $190 season ticket price.

I am now going to shower with muriatic acid after being on that website.

I'm a general admission person, so I know how you feel. But I also know if it comes to getting a proven new coach, we'll be looking at those kinds of things IF we want to be successful in SEC baseball.

I remember when the pricing for the new section of the football stadium happened...I'm glad for the folks that can afford it, it's just not my life no matter how I sacrifice to have it, I could never justify it.

I assume other SEC schools will soon follow Alabama in huge upgrades and it will be a big recruiting tool. I know it is fallacy to compare SEC with PAC 12, or most conferences for that matter, but the differences in venues is stark. Cal's park makes 1985 era Lindsey Nelson Stadium look like AT&T park in comparison. Stanford is nicer but nothing special. And the football stadiums are not comparable. The first time we went to Memorial Stadium, for the CAL/UT game, we just laughed at how bad it was.
