Tennessee @ Texas A&M Game 2 Thread - 3pm SECN+

I've seen enough. Fire Serrano tonight and let Simcox finish out the year as interim HC as a reward for many years of service. Suspensions, listless play, lifeless offense, etc. Pull the plug and get it over with.

I said at the beginning of the year, the only reason I would fire him mid-year is if he lost the team. He appears to have lost a lot of them.

Second day in a row: strong effort by starting pitcher; Vols score only 1 run on 7 hits.

Meanwhile, the Aggies showed what offensive efficiency looks like by scoring in every inning they got a hit.

well, it's really tough for me to even want to do that, right now, but, what you say BK is truly hard to argue with...:)

GO BIG ORANGE!

I just feel like that's all she wrote. I'd can coach and let an interim take over, what's the worse that can happen? We're terrible right now

I disagree that he has lost this team. You don't play so many close games without fighting. I said it after Wednesday night this weekend offense is just struggling but only giving up 5 runs in 2games isn't a team that has quit.

He has lost the team off the field.

Maybe he hasn't. Just feels like suspending what was supposed to be 2 of your best players at the beginning of the year is a bad sign. Losing your own son to whatever his issues are doesn't help either.

He has lost the team off the field.

All teams have issues off the field. Losing his son just opens up a can or worms all around but that isn't a team that has quit on the field. They lost 15-2 tomorrow and we can revisit this but it's foolish now to say this team isn't fighting

Don't necessarily always agree with Bruin but I do here.....team is trying as of today. Off the field stuff happens everywhere and we don't hear the fraction of it. Heck, JJ Swartz and another guy walere suspended the 1st two games for Florida when we played them. Follow Kendall Rogers from D1 Baseball and he's announcing suspensions frequently.

Maybe our two guys needed a fire lit up their ass to get going. And thoughts and prayers to Kyle. Tough situation for everyone, if you know of someone battling a demon you know what I'm talking about. Fortunately he's young and will/can bounce back.

The team is fighting. I never said the players gave up.

But it is hard to win with all the drama.

His 6th year is over.

Let me ask this. If the season ended today. Would tennessee offer him another 5 year deal?

The answer in NO!

End of story!!!!

Don't disagreee at all.....I'll let the AD do his job and I'll/we can Monday morning quarterback from there.
