Tennessee Transfer Portal Targets

So if we do land Knecht and it turns out Gainey is considered a walk-on then because Gainey is employed by the school doesn’t that mean that Jordan Gainey can attend the school his father works at for free? That’s how it was when I went to the school where my dad worked. Then again it may be different at Tennessee. Surely they have it all mapped out if we do land Knecht.

Yes because mock drafts a year out are typically relevant to how players produce this current year lol

Just thought it was interesting, that’s all. That’s also without basing obviously how they both do this upcoming season.

But I don’t think someone would be on a draft board, unless they have talent. That’s all :)

Edit: I also meant to put 70’s. I looked at our previous post and put 50

Who said someone didn’t have talent? I would say many folks would also take Oscar over many of the projected drafted bigs, NBA drafting off potential and trying to correlate it to impact a transfer will have is quite the stretch lol.

I’m not going to get into it with you. I was just sharing a mock draft, after you posted who was ranked higher, that’s all :)

Pretty sure it’s ~50% off for children of faculty and staff, not for free

Emotion aside, Phillips, Knecht, JJJ, in that order. If you could guarantee JJJ's health, I might rearrange that slightly.
Frankly, I can still see a case for JJJ coming back ... will he ??? ... I have not a clue.
Would love to hear some news on how his workouts are going .... anyone? ....anyone? ....anyone? (Yes, it is an obscure reference to Ferris Bueller's Day Off)

I made a post on VQ in the Knecht thread saying “We’re getting Knecht. Bookmark it.” And Grant Ramey liked the post. I haven’t seen him like any other posts in that thread. He knows something! It’s happening…
I got a kick reading about you learning where Colorado was located lol

As of now the only two teams currently on the schedule Illinois and Wisconsin….we’re going to run both off the court lol

hahah mocked to be drafted in the 70s. they don't draft past number 60, so in practicality Gainey and McCollum are in the same boat

Embarrassing brain fart. I admit. I don’t actually think Colorado is the west coast. I did think Colorado was closer to Eugene than Knoxville though. Not true apparently.

And for some reason I thought I read somewhere that Knecht was from the west coast and he wanted to stay closer to home, which is why Oregon was the favorite. But turns out Knecht is actually from Colorado not just goes to Northern Colorado. Lots of own goals by me with that post.
