Well I guess if Phillips goes pro he can come back in a couple of years to get his degree. Phillips can’t dribble and he is not physical. Not sure what any NBA team would see in him at this point. He would have to develop quickly or get passed by in the next two drafts.Santi returns and Phillips goes pro
You’re not sure what an NBA team would see in a lanky, 6’8”, super athletic, 18 year old that was one of the best defenders in college basketball?Well I guess if Phillips goes pro he can come back in a couple of years to get his degree. The NBA loves tall wings. They'll see him as a nice 3&D type player. He didn't shoot the best % from 3 this year, but neither did Grant Williams in college and he improved a ton in the NBA. They'll also fall in love with how well he plays defense.Well I guess if Phillips goes pro he can come back in a couple of years to get his degree. Phillips can’t dribble and he is not physical. Good grief...noooooooWonder if we reach out to Cam Hayes. Was at NC State for 2 seasons then spent last season at LSU, I guess he's used his free transfer so his eligibility might be an issue unless he's graduated.
Was a top 75 kid outta HS and we were in his recruitment before he went to NC State. Rick visited and Cam took an unofficial here. 6'3" 175lbs and solid numbers although he's been about a 23mpg his entire career.
Good grief...nooooooo
No offense, but he couldn't make much of an impact on an awful LSU team, nor at NCSU, before. Not a dynamic PG, not a great shooter, not a great defender. We went down this road, last offseason. I'd rather take a risk on Ques Glover than Hayes.
I wouldn’t mind taking a look at Jaylon Tyson from Texas TechGood grief...nooooooo

I also wonder if things circle back around to Tylor Perry at some point…Arkansas is landing Ellis because they don’t want to wait around on Perry, Bama getting tired of waiting and Florida is willing to wait but is he looking for something bigger/better than Florida ideally? Just curious if as other options start to go away if his “requests” start to soften a bit and we take another look.
