Tennessee, Virginia AG's Sue NCAA

If a school employs an AD that’s shortsighted enough to not see the issue? Sure. Again everyone knows this is about NIL, it doesn’t stop at Tennessee. Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Ole Miss, etc all of those programs would be looked at.
I'm not saying schools should not see the problems coming up, not saying they shouldn't join other schools in this case, I'm just saying the rivalry is too great between schools for them to join a competing school in a lawsuit. Tenn didn't join up with Virginia until the NCAA came after us. I hope I'm wrong and every SEC team joins us. Everything I'm hearing so far, seems we have the law on our side and feel good about this case vs the Cornbread pay for play scandal .

It's a novel idea, but unless a school is being questioned by NCAA like Florida/Va/Tenn, it's not realistic to think other schools are going to take up a cause that could possible ding a rival school. Until your ox is gored, most schools like seeing their arch rivals taken down. Can you imagine Tenn trying to help Bama or Georgia if they were being investigated ?
True, but all the other states know that every program is subject to the malign whims of the ncaa enforcement Nazis with their poorly-written and ever-changing rules. It's enough to make everyone paranoid. The root problem is the incompetence, bias, and unfair enforcement of the rules of the governing sports body itself, not with calumny from rival institutions. If enough of those being harmed, or likely to be harmed, by ncaa bias, incompetence and malfeasance banded together against it, the ncaa would be forced to dissolve.

The only thing I can think of from an NCAA stand point is that their end-game "rules of regulation" for NIL was getting no legs, so they picked a school to "poke the bear", knowing that nothing will ever come of existing threats, where penalties pre-date the existing rules. What if they're doing this to maximize the attention on the topic to get everyone's attention to level set the "rules", again, all knowing that this stuff today is hogwash.

Nope and those are 2 schools that really need to be investigated.

"NCAA hates us"... I probably got a big pie crow to eat. I'd scoff every time I saw that, lol

Who wants to bet the NCAA didn't want this leaked by Forde? They've really stepped in it this time.
Tenet did want it leaked that’s why he wrote it. This is about the NCAA trying desperately to keep as much power and control as they can,, and nothing else. They see the inevitable end of the NCAA (and all their money)in the near future.

Now, if we could only get the other 48 states to join in...
(or the other 50 as my high school blonde girlfriend would have put it eons ago)
She may have been on to something....52 cards in a deck...4x13. Watch out for PR and DC.

I once had a middle school teacher going on about how brilliant the Germans were, and how efficient and devastating their military was. He said, 'If it hadn't been for the atomic bomb, we would probably have never defeated them'..lol
