Yep, TyTy has a significant size advantage over KC, too. Something that poster has told us all you can't teach.
My understanding is that since his injury, he has lost some explosiveness/athleticism and is not as highly regarded now as he was when he originally committed to UK.What’s the speculation behind his decommitment
Tf are you talking about? The tweet says that Tennessee, referring to representatives from the UT bball program, was there (Montverde in FL) to see Skyy play, not that they were in the state of TN to see him play.So he is from Nashville. The 'tweet' read that Monteverde was in Nashville. Mis-tweet?
His father also thinks he’s a bit better than he is and wants to be involved which isn’t very appealing to me.My understanding is that since his injury, he has lost some explosiveness/athleticism and is not as highly regarded now as he was when he originally committed to UK.
I think he is now considered a multi year college player and not a likely one and done. I hope he comes here and gives UK nightmares for years.
He originally is from California iirc, moved to Nashville and lived there maybe 2 years, then was at Montverde in Florida. I don’t see anything in the tweet saying “Montverde in Nashville”??
It speaks to TyTy getting injured twice. He’s a much better player than the last month shows. Now, now. We all know logic and consistency aren't two things you'll find on VolNation.
Ha, kidding. But, in all seriousness, TyTy has the size and the measurables that Kennedy just doesn't. It's something that will give him a leg up in the draft and as a pro, so Kennedy will just have to work that much harder. You could already see it on the court this year. Kennedy made drastic improvements from Day 1 to the end of the season, while TyTy kind of peaked early and got worse. Speaks to their work ethic, IMO.
