I had similar thought, and timing of both was a bit coincidental too, but would expect Tennessee to look there and also turn up the heat on Malik Reneau.

Had room for 3, as I had been saying Collins, Key/Murray, Phillips…also the front court was pretty loaded so not sure Reneau reciprocated much initial interest anyways. Now we not only have the room but also have a more appealing frontcourt situation.

I’m a GTown alum and live near campus. Absolutely no one cares about the team anymore lol. BHH is gonna get dominated by himself when they’re terrible again next year. Ewing is definitely lying out of his a** saying he’ll get him to the nba no problem

We haven’t experienced a VITAL loss yet though (outside of KC). Don’t get me wrong, losing BHH sucks, but we didn’t lose anyone who were major contributors to our championship run yet. If we can get Phillips, Key, Collins, and a serviceable post, then I think we can be close to what we were this year.

Yup its more like professional FA than anything else.
My 2 cents but I've always thought the portal should only be available to kids who's coach leaves the school, or in football their position coach. But this free for all stuff sucks. Schools aren't going to have those 3 or 4 year guys that fans fall in love with very much anymore.
