If Lofton is indeed serious about playing with his teammate, I think that might take us out of it. Andrew Slater's post suggested they want to go and start somewhere at the 1 and the 5. Lofton very likely would start because we need a PG, but I'm fairly certain we aren't going to guarantee the C a starting position.

Neither will be guaranteed anything, but I think you could definitely show the big guy our returning posts and he may feel confident in winning a starting spot. I’m not sure what Top 20 teams have a 1 & 5 walk in and start available.

There is a reason most of them aren’t. Miami just has a very stupid donor (Ruiz) who has decided to use his Twitter as a bullhorn and now the whole world knows how much Nigel Pack is making. Someone on the Canes was bound to be made about it.
