Tennessee vs Georgia

Shhhhhhh you'll crush the dreams of all the people that think UGA is a Top 10 Program.

Geez. I know they aren't that good. But do you really think there are 111 teams with tougher schedules? They play UT, Auburn, and Florida. Their OOC schedule is a joke, but still. I don't think they have one of the ten easiest schedules.

I don't begin to pretend that I understand how it works, but I assume that those numbers change depending on how the teams you have played do as well over the course of the year. Cal dropping down after we beat them probably has something to do with the #21 rating.:dunno:

Georgia is a very respectable team.

Georgia has been very successful against us recently.

Georgia is in the toughest division in college football.

All that being said, they are NOT a Top 10 team, and they are NOT as good as a lot of people on here are making them out to be.

Anyone that doesn't expect atleast a 10 point win is selling this Tennessee team VERY short.

I'm being overly sarcastic in my attack on the Dawgs, only to attempt to even out the love fest.

Georgia is my least favorite team ever. There is no one else I would rather beat by 49. I still don't think their schedule is as weak as this guy tries to say it is. You don't have to be a good team to have a good schedule.

Maybe it is the schedule they have played so far?

I wouldn't know for sure though.

Sagarin does redo his SOS weekly based on your schedule, your opponent's schedule and your opponent's opponent's schedule.

It's a complete way to look at it but it doesn't factor in games not played yet so you cant just say Georgia has a great sos simply because they will play Auburn and Florida down the road.

so basically, it's a snapshot from the begining of the year to present. Which lends credence to the fact the Vols have had a tougher schedule to date.

i look for richt to play ball control football in an attempt to liimit the ut offense to 4-5 possessions per half...if successful, that would put pressure on the vol offense to perform in a difficult road game (which they have not faced this year)...special teams (uga strength)and field position will be keys in this strategy...key for the vols this week will be in keeping "poise" offensively, as ultimately, the vols have the playmakers this year to pull away as the game winds down.

That makes more sense. Expect both UT and Georgia to go up in his rankings as time goes by.

Georgia's SOS up to now is crippled by the fact that they scheduled Western Kentucky.
