Tennessee vs. Indianapolis Exhibition Game Thread 11/8 7:30 PM

Tatum? I think he's played well, on both ends of the court.

Yeah he's been alright. I just know his game already, and outside of knocking down open 3's, I don't think he brings nearly as much versatility as Harris does. Harris looks to be a consistent scorer inside. Great low post moves.

I realize this, but it was pretty effective last year and we have for the large part looked pretty bad in transition thus far. Maybe it will just take time for the players to adjust.
I don't really recall us running set plays that often, just the baseline motion stuff. By set plays I mean moving the ball from side to side and working the post. I just dont see Pearl slowing down the game at all this season.

We struggled in the first half. Clearly, we have a lot to work on, but some of those player combinations we won't see much of this year. Tobias is already our best offensive player.

I disagree. He's pretty good off of the dribble, jmo.

I didn't say we did it that often, I just said it was effective. The prince/hopson baseline play, the chism post up and dish and the chism 3 pointer when he was the last guy up the court, that one would be great to run with Tobias. We should be able to abuse this team in the post and we have not been looking for it.

Still should not be that sloppy against a team this inferior. I imagine they'll clean it up the second half.
I don't really think this team cares about this game. They are looking at it as a glorified scrimm. How many of those TOs were forced by Indy? As always, this team usually plays down to the competition.

Which it is. I just don't like the lackadaisical stuff.

3 total, one each.

Entire starting lineup has 2 each, except Harris with one.

I'm not to concerned right now. It'll get better once this team gels and can get more playing time with one another. Pearl is trying a bunch of different player combinations which we won't see when it matters.

Pittsburgh is playing Rhode Island on ESPNU right now for those curious, Pitt is up 62-58 with 7:00 remaining in the 2nd half.

I always need a backup program to watch during commercial breaks and such.

agreed but I think that is the type of players we have. They have openly admitted they took plays off in the past, I wouldn't put an entire game out of the question
