F¥€£|ng amazing how Liberty didn’t even start its Ace today and Tennessee got dominated from start to finish. Can’t give up 3 unearned runs against a good team and expect to win and yes Liberty is a good team. For
Anyone that don’t think Liberty isn’t a good team just Look at there RPI and ask Duke why they was swept by the them in the season. Non the less GO VOLS and hope we have a better showing tomorrow against a not so good team with a RPI of 147

Well for me winning 1 game in the entire tournament is an accomplishment. But acting like winning just 1 game is enough and then losing the next one your happy with. I’m not for giving out participation medals. Maybe I just got a different mind set than you do about losing ?

Maybe, maybe not. I wouldn’t say it’s an accomplishment, rather, progress.

I would like to see us get over the hump. It has been a pretty long time since we won 14 SEC games, going back to 2002, we did it once, maybe twice.

They did that this year. Progress.

We have been one and done in the SEC tournament every time the last few years...if we made it all...that’s the hump.

And now we made a regional, by hook or crook, it’s another chance...I hope they can find a way, for them. It is all about them. I want it for them. The players, the coaches.

Sometimes you gotta learn how to do it on a big stage, when the lights are bright and it helps if you have players that have been there before.

We don’t...yet.

Ashamed to say I did just that. Didn't know until now that the game was even played, much less that Vols lost.:mad:The folks in Chapel Hill screwed up with their "off again-on again" handling of the game after the rain delay in the first game (which should have begun at noon). Get UNC-le Willie today!

Well, if we're being honest, this program doesn't really know much about Hoover much less the NCAAT. The old super bowl saying is that you have to lose one before you can win it gives me some sliver of a silver lining. The Rod years seem a lifetime ago. While I know many will say baseball is baseball, I'd prefer to stay in my own naive little world and consider the much improved product and season we've enjoyed and tell myself that just making the tournament(s) was an accomplishment we can build on going forward. I'm also a BVS survivor who is perpetually cupped up at times like this. I expect us to do a face plant so the outcomes like this, while painful, are at least expected and somehow easier to take. In a strange, perverted way, when we do something like win a game we aren't supposed to, it does make it a tad sweeter.

Anyway, I had no expectations beyond making it to Hoover. We're still playing with house money....at least in my sheltered casino. Now excuse me while I step away for a bit. Time for my meds. ;)

Tough loss-Coach Jackson -Liberty head coach -coaching 3rd-former UNC assist. Coach-great Coach-he looked zoned in all the time-didnt look like the weather delay played much with his mind tonight-he looked like he brought his team both mentally and physically prepared to play-I was impressed-weather delay didn't seem to divert his team's attention. UT needs some work with the offense-didn't see adjustments by UT-I know its difficult when you hit the ball hard but back to where they are-hopefully things start going the Vols way-tough opponent today in UNCW-they lost on a error last night-they will be stoked to take one back tonight. Boshmer great place to play baseball
