We have dk every game and then maybe 1 or 2 guys that decide to step up that night or happen to get on a hot streak.

It's been Knecht and Aidoo, essentially--and Aidoo was bad tonight. Vescovi gives a few points, Ziggy even fewer, James has opted to go completely AWOL, Gainey went back to missing. Made 12 free throws and missed 8--Knecht missing 4 of 10. We were bad.

Hard for others to stay engaged when the entire offense consists of one guy dominating the ball as much as Knecht does. That’s just a fact.

It isn’t like that early on in the game. Were you watching? Knecht took over out of necessity. We were down 9 and the only reason we had a chance is because Knecht stopped passing to guys who weren’t doing anything. It took the entire game of garbage offense before knecht decided it was time to take over

Well, they never should have been double digit favorites over this team. I never for a second thought this would be a certain win. SC plays physical and wants a rock fight, we fell exactly into their plans.

Tobe played well? He hustles but that should be a bare minimum for any player. We have too many guys that are marginal at putting the ball in the basket. Kinda bad when that's the object of the game.

What a difference those 8 free throws would’ve made too. When we lose a close one it always comes down to missed free throws.

A game like this is a predictor of an early exit from the NCAA tourney. DK scoring but NO secondary scoring. Ziegler and Gainey off, who knows what's up with JJJ and no one on the bench to provide scoring. Just hope we can make it through the first weekend. Classic Barnes team that comes up empty offensively at bad times.

As far as winning the conference I think that was a pretty big blow. Now makes Saturday almost a must win imo.

Agree 100%. This is the kind of loss that can keep you from securing the conference. Hope is not lost by any means, but dropping one at home def palpably hurts.

Not trying to dog on the kid whatsoever, but barring an unforeseen comeback, Vescovi's fiery offense days were over way before the season started.

Remember his 1st game? Whatever happened to that guy? I don't think he's capable of doing that again

Nah. He's terrible but he didn't lose us this game. Missed layups, free-throws and a complete lack of focus on both ends of the court. We just didn't want to be here tonight and that's all there is to it. Maybe people will shut up about how good we are now.

Dude there were 8-10 phantom, nonexistent, garbage fouls that probably lead to a dozen or more points gifted. That’s a big deal in what was essentially a one possession game. We played bad but with half way competent officiating we skate by.
