The SEC is just awful this year. I see no way in hell we make the NCAA. We have the basketball version of Dooley sitting on out bench with that blank dumbfounded stare.

I kid.....and I pray your right. Cuonzo is starting to really make me doubt him now though. And unlike the CBJ NegaVols on here....my opinion is based on 2 full seasons and the beginning of this 1...with his players in place. A lot of signs of being out coached in close games and by lesser teams...at least on paper.

He finished higher than projected both his first two years. Won 19 and 20 games. If he gets to the NCAA this year so far his tenure has been successful. Not great but good.

Bruce left us in a bad situation when Martin came in. Real threats of sanctions and no one returning that had done anything of note. How people seem to forget these things is crazy.

It's his 3rd year, the blaming Bruce thing is over. This season will only be successful by making the NCAA's. 19/20 wins and the NIT is a another failed season.

Yea it would be but I think we make it.

But people complaining about his first two years always fail to mention he finished higher than projected each year and could have made it either year even with the mess Bruce left. People need to stop acting like he got a top 10 or even top 25 team and failed to make the tourny.

On the flip side Bruce would've taken this roster the last 2 seasons to the tourney at least and not the NIT....he proved he could motivate a lesser team to rise to the occasion...like when we beat #1 Kansas.

Also I loved Bruce and don't understand why he lied....but I am not advocating for his return here either.

Yea like his last year when he won 19 games right? And how do you know? McRae and Maymon did nothing under Bruce. How do you know what he would have done with sanctions looming and losing all his starters?

the truth is we dont know :) but to say we r right on schedule with ccm is just freaking crazy.. the guy is avg at best n i still cant figure out his motivational style.. he just walks around..


so u r going to be happy winning what one game in sec tourney n making ncaa n losing first game.. that is success.

we want to be sec champs n contending.. n we r just pretending at this point of the season.:hi:
