All those New York ties run deep, right? Where are you from on Long Island? Surely you're not just a frontrunner....

....like this?

My dad and I went a Mets game in 1980 when I was 10. I've followed them ever since. My fav player was Howard Johnson for the longest time and then Strawberry. You can ask about the frontrunner, but did you see their legendary collapse last year? How can a team that hasnt won anything since 1986 be called a frontrunner? As far as the Rockets, well, do you really think they have a shot of winning the NBA? Neither do I, but Im pulling for them.

He's publicly stated that it is between Ohio State, Michigan and Penn State. Oregon was in the hunt but is no longer.

I think it's hilarious he didn't go to Michigan. RichRod was really counting on him going up to Ann Arbor.

Yes, but I think Pryor at S.Carolina = Fulmer looking for a new gig faster than Pryor at some other school. Just keeping my eyes on the prize.

It's a pretty sorry state to have a so called VN Guru thinking that the Vols losing is "keeping his eyes on the prize". Sad that visitors get that impression of our program.

And here is VHB response:

"if we have to lose a few games for Fulmer to go then so be it"

We're going to lose a few every year he stays anyway. might as well double down in '08 and get things back on track in '09 with someone who is committed to winning championships. After all the baloney that has happened between Hamilton and Fulmer over the past two years i am now convinced that Hambone will never get rid of Fulmer and it is going to take total meltdown to get the both of them out. Right now the Vols football program is like an alcoholic trying to find rock bottom.

I don't mind your take on UT football and honestly, losing is frustrating. But if you don't think Fulmer is committed to winning championships then you don't know much about the man.

And frankly, you cross the line from opinionated to disgusting when you hope the team loses and you tell fans not to go to game.

Do you expect any different from him?
