Terrorist attack at Niagara Falls border station

The funny thing about all the knee-jerk SECURE THE BORDER!!! screeches was that the supposed terrorist never even made it through the border.
Much like our clueless Senator Blackburn sending out shock waves over us busting people with drugs at the border.

Motorist who plowed into Canadian border in fireball crash that sparked terror fears is New York Businessman who was driving a $300,000 Bentley 'Flying Spur' with his Wife - as casino owner reveals they stopped by just moments before border post inferno

A car which smashed into the US-Canada border on Wednesday morning was a $300,000 supercar driven by a New York businessman, it has emerged.

The 56-year-old businessman and his wife died when their Bentley Flying Spur plowed into the US checkpoint at high speed, bursting into flames at 11.27am.

They had been at the Seneca Niagara casino resort prior to the explosion - but were only there for 'minutes', a spokesman told DailyMail.com.

Sources within the casino said the couple were not believed to be regulars, and were possibly only in the resort to change money.

They were intending on driving to a Kiss concert in Canada, CNN's John Miller reported, which was later canceled due to a band member suffering from flu.

Miller said there was some speculation the driver, from a well-known family in Grand Isle, New York, had a medical issue.

Joe Biden's handlers have made this country and the world a very very dangerous place.

Vehicle entering US from Canada EXPLODES on Rainbow Bridge

Nah we got a strong leader in the WH

The average Muslim terrorist carrying out these tasks has a bathwater IQ. More of them blow up like this than not.

Yep! Open borders=get your guns ready! Talking to a military friend now, on what to do and how to protect myself and our country!

Was that network Al Jazeera? They also reported that some people at the border did some things..........

At least we got our guns. Can’t protect cars from exploding, but we can protect ourselves.
Congrats, Goobers! You totally nailed this one. Enjoy your crow in lieu of turkey.

Thanks, I was just catching up on this an was thinking someone should memorialize all the usual suspects strutting around like gloating pigeons.

Beautiful.

The knee jerk idiocy to blame the POTUS for a potential car bomb is mind numbing.

Boy Fox has you right where they want you.

Same organizations that waited for Russian Collusion facts? Steele Dossier Facts? Ran on those for years, but keep waiting for facts. Kudos to Fox for retracting the information of an explosion at the border during one of the busiest holiday travel days. Explosions at borders happen often according to the left.

Orginal reports say it was 2 men.
Now it's a man and women going to a canceled kiss concert?? And this info was gotten from a casino in which they weren't there very long and they didn't know why they were there but knew where they were going.....
Long hair band hair, could be confused for a woman. Getting close to 24 hours and no pictures is concerning. Investigators have information from the car on who it was.

Thankfully, I get to eat crow that I incorrectly rushed to judgment, and so did Fox. When the news first broke, it did have the appearance of a terrorist attempt.

I admit I was wrong, which is more than what Fox has done.

"Two passengers are reported dead after a vehicle exploded near the Rainbow Bridge border crossing separating the United States from Canada.

The vehicle contained explosives and the incident is being investigated as a suspected terrorist attack, law-enforcement sources told Fox News. A border agent was also reportedly injured in the attack.

“The FBI Buffalo Field Office is investigating a vehicle explosion at the Rainbow Bridge, a border crossing between the US and Canada in Niagara Falls,” the FBI said in a statement following the incident. “The FBI is coordinating with our local, state, and federal law enforcement partners in this investigation. As this situation is very fluid, that’s all we can say at this time.

What I’ve been told is that this was an attempted terrorist attack,” Fox News correspondent Alexis McAdams reported around 2 p.m., adding:

They believe the two people in that car who are now both dead after that large explosion there have packed that car full of explosives. As for what types of explosives? We’re not sure just yet. One Border Patrol officer, I’m told, was also injured in that explosion. Minor injuries at this time. There’s been conflicting reports, as you’ve Trace, been seeing here because it’s all developing. So things change here and they’re doing their best to figure it out.

McAdams later walked that reporting back in multiple hits on-air. She joined The Five at the top of the hour to give an update, saying, “So now we have these high-level police sources saying bomb techs immediately alerted all authorities that it was an attempted terror attack because they never saw debris field like that. Now walking that back, but all government buildings were evacuated today, Dana. The bridge was closed there and the airport had heightened security, which sources tell me were all steps that would follow what they believed was a terror attack.

"Several services were paused or otherwise halted. International arrivals and departures were halted at the Buffalo Niagara international airport, CNN reported the Federal Aviation Authority as saying. Amtrak suspended its services between New York and Canada."

"Earlier, Hochul said on X that New York State Police was "actively working" with the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force and will continue to monitor all points of entry to New York."

"Hours later, federal and state authorities said investigators had found no evidence of an act of terrorism, though circumstances surrounding the crash on the Rainbow Bridge remained murky, leaving it to be determined whether it was accidental or intentional."

"Canada Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has addressed Parliament over an alleged and fatal terror attack at a US-Canada border crossing."

Maybe this is a case of US Federal, Canadian gov't and law enforcement officials walking back their initial thought it was a terrorist attack.

Reminded me of the Dadeville, AL shooting thread. Almost identical behaviors on display.

Good stuff.

From my post #72 it was initially thought to be terrorist related by gov't officials and law enforcement and was being treated as such. Fox News was only reporting what they were told by officials. The leftists on here are grasping at straws attacking Fox News. Fed officials walking back their initial thoughts of it being a terrorist attack.

I initially posted Daryl Hall filed restraining orders against John Oates...that is a fact and may have been the cause of all of this.
