Sweet welcome aboard Terry! He was a little before my time, but it can't hurt having a player who had a lot of success winning and getting drafted in the first round. Good move by CBJ

Glad CBJ that's for sure. Hiring former players is such a novel idea. Can't believe dools couldn't think of it...oh wait...Chuck Smith and Jay Graham. Not saying this is a bad thing but seriously stop acting like its something amazing and means cbj is the next coming of Neyland.

There is alot more to it than that for sure. Jones is reaching out to former Vols....haven't you read? He has an open door policy for them at practice, etc...Dooley did none of this. Jone is doing it right and is reaching out where Dooley didn't.

I believe that was DG who made the one-handed INT against Fla over the middle in '98...but agree that these two were some of UT's finest DBs...:salute:

FINALLY.....someone we all know that we all know knows how to be a solid DB! Already feel great about our DB's learning how to cover someone now....light at the end of the coverage tunnel!!!!!

Dooley is gone man. Let it go. I think people are just excited about a Vol being part of the best staff in America.

I'm fully aware he is gone. But acting like hiring a former vol is such a big deal and as if CBJ is the only one to do it is just dumb. People on here seriously need to take it day by day and stop getting excited about the littlest things. Fair being on staff doesn't prove or secure future success for the Vols.

I've seen the ups and downs with Dooley just like everyone else, and just trying to keep things into perspective. This fan base would screw up a wet dream.

I like it! Getting More of these guys involved will bring back the tradition...Terry Fair, Conredge, Antone Davis, Jay Graham. Go Vols!
